The ensemble of ethnic and spiritual music, "Alkonost", performs the folk and spirit music of Russia and the world. Since 2015, the ensemble has been actively engaged in concert activities. It consists of students and graduates of the Togliatti Classical Gymnasium and students of the Academy of St. Aleksei. The name of the group was taken from Slavic myths: Alkonost was the name of the bird of paradise and happiness. The collective of 17 people is a laureate of all-Russian and international competitions. The artistic director is Ivan Makeev.
