The folklore ensemble "Zaltitsa" was founded in 2009. The participants of the collective teach at secondary and higher educational institutions of Novosibirks in various specialities in traditional culture. The number of members — 5.
Love for Russian culture, interest for traditions, customs and rituals of Russian people, correspondence via expeditions to original performers of folk songs and teachers, have prompted the creative forces and creation of the ensemble. Today "Zlatitsa" participates in international and all-Russian festivals and competitions.
