The Saratov Regional Philharmonic Musical Theatre choir, in the name of Alfred Schnittke, was established on December 27, 1991. The founder is the artistic director and chief conductor, Honoured Art Worker of the Russian Federation, Professor L.A. Litsova. The ensemble is the laureate and Grand Prix winner of the International Choral Music Competition (Poland), as well as previous participation in 30 international festivals in France, Germany, Poland, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny NovgoroThe 29-member team has over 700 concerts in Russia and abroad.
